Levelflex®. The Levelflex tension leveler solves the challenge of processing materials with highly sensitive surfaces, achieving excellent flatness while preserving the strip’s surface integrity. This makes the system particularly desirable for use with aluminum alloys in continuous lines. An optimized Levelflex cassette can be opened to operate pure stretch mode or closed to process a thick-gauge strip. It also comes with these additional benefits:

Unflatness measurement systems. We have a full complement of solutions that accurately detect flatness defects in metal strips. Together they form the Unflatness Measurement System PRO® to provide complete monitoring across the full tension spectrum. And, with a single REDEX controller, users can make instant flatness corrections immediately after the leveler. Other UMS PRO features include:

- Dynamic switching between high- and low-flatness measurement rolls.

S-Max design™ backing assemblies. As today’s 20-High Mills apply advanced automation technology and reach higher rolling speeds, it is critical to have backing assemblies that stay current with these developments. REDEX S-Max design backing assemblies offer several features that simplify saddle and shaft maintenance, including innovative lubrication, enhanced metallurgic characteristics and the latest heat treatment technologies.
