Ocean Township, New Jersey. We are both happy and sad to say farewell to two of our longtime executives. For over four decades, Michael G. Munn and Bruce Bradley have been integral to the growth of Redex into a trusted name in quality unique gearboxes and solutions.
Michael G. Munn
Our longtime President Michael G. Munn is retiring from the company that he has led for 43 years. After graduating Kean College in New Jersey, he went into the construction business, starting Gemini Builders. In 1980, he co-founded Redex along with his father, George D. Munn, Jr. Under his leadership, Redex has grown from three to 22 employees and sales have increased from $200,000 to more than $10 million annually. He guided the company as industrial machinery shifted from mechanical technology to predominantly automated systems. Upon retiring, Michael will spend more time with his family and playing golf.
Bruce Bradley
A mainstay with Redex since joining the company in 1984, Bruce Bradley attended West Virginia Wesleyan College and Kean College. After a brief stint at Merrill Lynch, he joined Redex, working in our factory before taking on a sales role. Bruce became Sales Manager in 1990 then quickly became Vice President of Sales, during which time sales rose from $3.5 million to more than $10 million. He notes that during his time at Redex, the company went from selling individual components to now offering complete servo-driven product lines for automated systems. Bruce plans to enjoy more family time with his wife of over 38 years and their grandchild, as well as playing more golf and swimming.
