* The REDEX friction torque limi-

ter is based on a mono-disc design. Overload protection is obtained by slippage when loads exceeding the rated torque value. The use of the limiter is recommanded when the driven machine is subject to frequent, and possibly dan-gerous, overloads.

The torque limitor is delivered after calibration for the related unit’s max acceptable torque.

The restraining pin must be securely tightened in order to whistand the high load load level -F

(N) - which may be applied on it.

Le limiteur de couple à friction REDEX est du type monodisque. La protec-tion est obtenue par glissement au delà du couple d’étalonnage. Cet accessoire est conseillé lorsque la machine est soumise à des surchar-ges fréquentes et dangereuses pour l’installation.

Le limiteur de couple REDEX est livré étalonné pour le couple MAXI que peut supporter le module. L’ergot de retenue doit être solide-ment fixé pour résister à l’effort important -F
