Ocean Township, New Jersey — Redex Group has announced it will showcase its Merobel DG-Block during the Automotive Testing Expo, October 21-23, 2025 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, Hall TXNA, Booth 10052.
The Merobel DG-Block closed loop digital controller offers a complete range of specialized functions for a wide range of load and torque simulations for electric motor development. It is well-suited for test benches thanks to its compact size and USB type B connector in front of the controller. For multi stand applications, the DG-Block can distribute the main data (set point, measurement, etc.) and the process instruction from one master device to several following devices via a rear-mounted bust, eliminating extra wiring.
To make programming easy, DG-Block comes with it intuitive software environment called DG-BlockSoft.
Features include:
- Built-in precision amplifier for one or two sensors.
- Compatibility with any load cell technology.
- P.I.D. regulation algorithm.
- Open- and closed-loop functionality.
- Emergency stop torque is proportional to the set point.
- Soft-start function with programmable ramp.
- Multiple languages.
- MODBUS TCP/IP communication capable.
