Position Summary:

  • Application and selection of unique mechanical components to be used on industrial machinery. Components include Servo-Reducers, Right Angle Gearboxes, Rack & Pinion Drive systems, magnetic particle brakes, clutches and digital controllers.
  • Work closely with sales people to provide commercial and technical quotations
  • Offer technical support to customers and customer service through application assistance
  • Trouble shoot gearbox related problems by phone and email
  • Provide Technical support to production department
  • Inspect product returns (RMA’s)
  • Generate drawings or modifications to existing drawings
  • Travel required
  • Generate Bill Of Material and part numbers as required
  • Work closely with French headquarters, German, and Swiss partners regarding technical product related questions

Job Requirements:

  • Mechanical and/or electrical engineering degree required.
  • Driven, self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, CAD, and CRM
  • Be able to lift 40lbs
  • 2 to 3 years of experience is preferred
